Commentary for I Chronicles 6:29
וּבְנֵ֧י מְרָרִ֛י אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם עַֽל־הַשְּׂמֹ֑אול אֵיתָן֙ בֶּן־קִישִׁ֔י בֶּן־עַבְדִּ֖י בֶּן־מַלּֽוּךְ׃
And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch;

And the sons of Merari their brethren were on the left like what is said (in German, gebreder). On the left of Heman and his sons, for Heman and his sons were in the middle.
